Holiday Inn Paducah Riverfront, an IHG Hotel

Loved the river view and balcony in our 3rd floor room! For us senior citizens, the bathtub's many grab bars and "telephone" shower attachment were a Godsend. I also loved the pull-out table tucked under the desk, which offered flexibility for sit-down activities. Breakfast was tasty, with excellent service: thank you for the vouchers! We were in Paducah for one day only, but would gladly return for a visit. We were driving East, with three overnight stops in hotels chosen for their positive customer reviews, and this was by far the most comfortable, with the added bonus of a breathtaking river view.

Initially, the location seemed a bit...stark, surrounded by lots of cement. but once we entered the lobby, we were pleasantly (greatly?) surprised. The lobby was beautiful, and the staff was lovely. Once in our room, we were even more impressed, especially with the view of the Ohio river...glorious!

This is probably one of the nicest places I have stayed. Great room, so clean, and friendly helpful staff. The lovely woman at check-in was exceptional and so very sweet. After a very long drive, it was so nice to be greeted with such warmth.

The hotel was a great place and will definitely recommend. The staff greeted us with a smile and made sure everything was ok.
